Fighting to trust, believe, hope

Sometimes that leap of faith takes everything you've got. Especially after balancing your checkbook and finding it short. And that's when you remind yourself of all the things God has brought you through in the past. That you are right where He asked you to be and that He IS making the way, even when you can't see it. And you grab hold of verses like Philippians 4:19 that says my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus. I made the girls both say it out loud tonight and then I repeated it out loud more then once. We are verbally trying to speak truth and cling to it. 

For years I have commented that the budget doesn't work on paper, but God always makes sure the bills are paid. And He hasn't changed just because it really really doesn't work on paper now. This is when you just have to dig deep and let your faith be stretched and ask others to share their stories of His provision as well. To choose not to doubt but believe Him for big things.  

And be faithful in doing what you know He asked of you. The last thing you know you were instructed to do...keep doing that til He tells you the next step.
