This is the picture that made me want to try to make a quilt based off of a picture (quilt pic found at allpeoplequilt.com's share section...click the word picture above and it will take you to the actual picture). I love the look of the squares all over this quilt. Wanted to do a blue quilt...with hardly any other color but blue...and remembered this pattern. Every since ordering the extra fabrics...I have been almost patiently waiting for them to arrive at the house so I could get started. As soon as I finish the bag I am currently working on, I get to begin cutting this out! I really can't wait to see if I can look at a pic and make a quilt.
Here are the fabrics I want to use. Iffy on the spotted on that is the second to the right. Not sure whether that one will make it into this quilt or become a bag instead. Can't tell if it goes and am trying for a geometric, maybe manly feel. The spots look almost like flowers to me now that I see them.
The one that has a little red in it looks so different then the picture online. The circles, online, were so tiny that they barely were distinguishable as circles but made a neat design. Still like this print...but a little disappointed. And my two plain blues ended up being super similar in shade. Wonder how this is going to turn out?
