Have you ever?

First one:  Have you ever seen anything this cute?  This is our newest family member.  We call her Ms. Cheetah, and she is Moe's little wife.  She is two and a half and a snuggle bug.  And, just like I was hoping, she has brought some life into this house, but specifically she has perked Mr. Moe up and has helped him to not mope around the house so much.  We just finished day four with her and are starting to get a routine going.  We'll see how she cooperates for me doing school tomorrow...
Second one:  Have you ever gotten an encouraging word from a friend that just made your day?  I have to share the one I got today, because it was so encouraging and filled me with hope.  It's one thing to look at yourself and think that you have changed, for the better.  It's totally another thing for that change to be visible to others.  And the funnest part was that I had just gotten done writing on her facebook wall thanking her for her presence in my life.  I think the messages might have even been written at almost the same time.
Here's what it said:
"Well, isn't it a true testiment to God that I signed on to facebook to leave you a quick message, only to find that you left me a message! :) You have been in my thoughts a lot lately...not in a "worry" way, but in a "I'm so proud of who you have become and what you have turned your life into" sort of way. I have watched (facebook stalked) you grow, working through pain and challenges and I have been inspired and awe struck at the beauty your life story has become. Our great and mighty God has molded you into a GORGEOUS mother who is strong for her two beautiful girls, an intelligent and diligent student who is making the best of what she can be, an extremely talented and gifted seamstress whose works blow me away every time! I'm SO proud of you! I love you to the moon and back and I miss you terribly, but know that you are always in my thoughts and my heart!! You go girl!!:)"
I hope that I never forget these words and that I never give up on trying to become the woman that God wants me to become.
What can you do today to reach out and encourage someone?
